About Manitou Springs

Manitou Springs is located about 4 miles west of Colorado Springs between Garden of the Gods and at the foot of Pikes Peak, America's most famous mountain. The city was founded for it's natural mineral springs and has been a popular tourist destination for over 100 years. This eclectic hillside community offers an array of unique specialty shops, restaurants, museums, art galleries, and offers an abundance of mountain recreational activities including hiking, biking, horseback riding and mountain climbing. The many tourist attractions include, Cave of the Winds, Pikes Peak Cog Railroad, Miramont Castle, and is a quick drive to Garden of the Gods. Many homes in this community were built at the turn of the century and are nestled among the hills surrounding Manitou Springs boasting a beautiful rural setting with gorgeous views of the mountains and town. Manitou Springs School District 14 serves the area.
