About Northwest Colorado Springs
The Northwest area is located south of the United States Air Force Academy, north of the Garden of the Gods and west of Interstate 25. This desirable area provides expansive city and mountain views and offers a variety of housing options including luxury custom homes, semi-custom homes, single-family tract homes, townhomes, and condo’s. Northwest neighborhoods offer some of the most interesting topography in the city as it's situated in the foothills of the Rampart Range and among the rock formations and landscapes near Blodgett Peak Open Space, Ute Valley Park, and Woodmen Valley Park. There is an abundance of wildlife, hiking trails, strip shopping areas, and restaurants. Also nearby is the Pike National forest, the historic Glen Eyrie Castle, the Flying W Chuckwagon Old West Entertainment, and the Garden of the Gods. Academy School District #20 serves the northern part of this area and School District #11 serves the south end of the area.
