About Tri-lakes/ Monument/ Woodmoor/ Palmer Lake

The town of Monument is located at the northern edge of El Paso County approximately 20 minutes north of Colorado Springs and 50 minutes south of Denver. The town is at the base of the Rampart Range and bordered by Pike National Forest on the west, United States Air Force Academy to the south, foothills to the north and rolling plains to the east. The beautiful views, short drive to Colorado Springs and convenient drive to Denver make the growing Tri-Lakes area a popular place to live. The area is situated in rolling hills with beautiful wooded lots filled with Ponderosa pines. You can find many custom built homes on larger lots ranging from ½ - 5 acres in this area as well as semi-custom, and newer tract built homes. Monument continues to grow offering a variety of homes, neighborhoods, retail, and restaurants. Lewis Palmer School District 38 serves the area.
